Our region

Bordering on the Isère départment, at the gates of Provence ; the Trièves is one of the last preserved regions of the “Dauphiné”.
Here, on this territory which Giono described as a “cloister of mountains”, the landscape and villages have remained in a remarkable state of authenticity.
During any season, there is something to discover ! Nature lovers will find :
At Springtime there are fields of Lys Martigon. An attentive eye will spot the rare Sabots de Vénus orchid, one of more than 20 varieties in the area.
During Summertime, the mild climate of the moderately elevated mountains, makes hiking easy for all. Close by, there are many tourist and recreational activities which will guarantee you a singular voyage into the heart of a preserved environment.
In the Autumn there is mushroom picking and the call of the stag through the multi-colored leaves of the forest enhanced by the crystal clear light of warm days.
With the Winter, comes skiing, cross-country and downhill. Then there’s snowshoeing and tracking animal prints…
